Brand Momentum is looking for Brand Ambassadors/Promo Models in Vancouver for one of our clients (Batiste).
Overview: We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Brand Ambassador (BA) to join our team for the upcoming Back to School Activation at the University of BC in Vancouver, BC. We are looking for energetic and outgoing individuals to join our marketing team as a Campus Guerilla Sampling Ambassadors. This role involves engaging with students on campus to promote and distribute samples of our product/service. You will be responsible for creating memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression on your peers.
Location: University of BC
Date and Time: Monday, October 14, to Sunday, October 27 (a total of 14 days) - The BA is required to work 6 hours per day, totaling 84 activation hours over the 14-day period.
Must be available for virtual orientation (date to be announced). Orientation will last 1-1.5 hours.
Rate: starting at 20/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Sampling: Distribute samples of our product/service to students in high-traffic areas around campus, such as the student union, dormitories, and popular hangout spots.
- Brand Representation: Act as the face of the brand, ensuring that all interactions are positive and align with the company's image and values.
- Engagement: Initiate conversations with students, answer any questions they may have, and provide information about the product/service.
- Event Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute creative sampling events that generate buzz and excitement.
- Data Collection: Gather feedback from students about their experience with the product/service and report back to the marketing team.
- Social Media Promotion: Encourage students to share their experiences on social media, and actively participate in online brand campaigns.
- Logistics Management: Ensure that all materials and samples are well-organized, and that events run smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Outgoing Personality: Comfortable approaching and engaging with people in a variety of settings.
- Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and come up with unique ways to present the product/service.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate the brand message clearly.
- Reliability: Punctual, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with Campus: Knowledge of the campus layout and student culture is a plus.
- Social Media Savvy: Understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Working Conditions:
- This role requires walking, standing, and moving around campus for extended periods.
- The position may involve working outdoors in various weather conditions.
