Job Overview

As a Team Lead Merchandiser, you will be leading a small team of merchandisers (3-4 merchandisers) within new location(s), following a planogram to set up the store. You will be required to travel across BC with flight and accommodations covered. The expectation is to meet timelines by providing exceptional Team Lead service through merchandising products as well as assisting merchandisers.

We are looking for passionate Merchandising Specialist to join the Brand Momentum Team. If you are creative and determined to convert each site while leading a team, then we are looking for you.

Location: Vancouver/ Surrounding Areas

Hours: up to Approx 18 hours per week + travel

Start Date: September-January

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Merchandise planograms accurately and quickly. Experience with merchandising is required.
  • Make and install price labels.
  • Filling the new planograms with the product.
  • Locate products in the backroom.
  • Ensure that retail basics tasks are executed efficiently (e.g., stocking, labels, facing etc.).
  • Identify low stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Comply with the company, and store policies.
  • Maintain a professional appearance (uniform, hygiene, grooming and name tag).
  • Complete other tasks as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs- 40lbs
  • Merchandising experience is mandatory
  • Able to commit to the length of the contract.
  • Access to a car is an asset

About You

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales and retail, consistently delivering on customer service and sales objectives
  • A history of going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service in every customer interaction
  • Demonstrate confidence and charisma, while having strong listening skills
  • A flair for merchandising and presentation of premium products
  • Outstanding communications skills (oral and written)
  • A talent for sales and selling
  • Must be of legal age
  • Access to a vehicle is mandatory**
