Brand Momentum is looking for Brand Ambassadors/Promo Models in Toronto for one of our clients (Guru).

Overview:
We're excited to announce an opportunity for Brand Ambassadors (BAs) to join our team for the upcoming Guru Roadshow at various Costco locations nationwide. We are looking for energetic, committed, and outgoing individuals to join our marketing team as Sampling Ambassadors. This role involves engaging with customers inside Costco stores at the Guru sampling booth, promoting and distributing samples of our product. You will be responsible for creating memorable experiences that turn interactions into potential sales. There is a daily sales target for the Guru 12-pack, and BAs will receive an additional bonus per shift if the target is met.

A virtual orientation will be held (date to be announced), lasting 1-1.5 hours.

Requirements:

  • Must obtain a food handling certificate before being allowed to do the sampling (cost will be reimbursed, can be completed online, and hours will be compensated).
  • At least one BA (ideally both) must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive a cargo van if needed.
  • Most shifts will be approximately 6 hours, with weekend shifts around 4.75 hours with mornings and afternoons scheduled.
  • Each location will have a 13-day activation period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet daily sales targets and turn interactions with customers into sales.
  • Pickup and transport booth setup assets from the warehouse.
  • Setup on the first day and teardown on the last day of activation.
  • Product Sampling: Distribute product samples to Costco shoppers.
  • Brand Representation: Act as the face of the brand, ensuring positive interactions that align with the company's image and values.
  • Engagement: Initiate conversations with Costco customers, answer questions, and provide product information.
  • Reporting: Gather daily sales data, submit daily pictures, use a turnkey reporting solution to track and submit daily reports, and submit a program wrap report at the end of the activation.

Qualifications:

  • One BA responsible for driving to and from the storage warehouse must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Outgoing personality, comfortable approaching and engaging with people.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, able to clearly articulate the brand message.
  • Punctual, responsible, responsive, and able to work independently.

Working Conditions:
This role requires standing at the Guru booth for the duration of the shift.
