About the Position

Reporting directly to the Group Client Leader, the Account Supervisor, Marketing Solutions, is responsible for the leadership and execution of Client Programs. You will work with an outstanding team, and you will manage the ideation and execution of the portfolio’s client programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for the overall outcome of the market strategy through our field team to deliver against client KPI targets and expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead our clients and internal teams from ideation to execution with a thorough understanding of the client’s business.
  • Develop strong client relationships and address clients’ day-to-day asks or issues.
  • Lead the portfolio’s financial components: developing SOW, quotes, budgets, invoicing and reconciliations. Maintaining a substantial revenue stream and closing with profitable margins.
  • Direct the management of operational logistics: procurement + production process, creative design, including coordination of meetings (internal and client), creative revisions and approvals (client and legal), estimate approvals, and workback schedules.
  • Oversee and manage direct reports through effective meetings, project workbacks, and ongoing coaching. Support staff development plans.
  • Oversee the communication and deliverables with internal team to ensure projects are running smoothly, on time and on budget.
  • Manage the general communication and collaborative initiatives throughout the agency, brand teams and recognized partners – ensure documentation and clear understanding of expectations.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of the relevant legal regulations and market guidelines specific to client business / category.
  • Maintain the necessary records on the portfolio’s business performance and the impact of the brand programs. These include event reporting + data, tracking summaries, and relevant historical data.
  • Collect key trends and insights which is inclusive of program specific and analyze competitor activity.
  • Oversee and execute general/miscellaneous requests in the daily running of the account and direct reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Post-Secondary Education, preferably in Business, Marketing and / or Events related
  • 4-5 years of agency experience specifically in an account management role
  • Excellent client and team management skills
  • Willing and ability to travel for work - some overnight and across Canada trips
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Primary Location: Mississauga, ON (10% Canadian travel expected)

  • Schedule Agreement: Full time employee status
  • Compensation: $60,000-$65,000, depending on experience
  • Benefits: Paid vacation, benefits, performance structure
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience, including coaching direct reports
  • Alcohol beverage account experience an asset but not required
  • Understanding of the retail and events landscape
  • Experience with sponsorships, production vendors, and acquired negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Fantastic organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Self-starter who takes pride in ownership and is comfortable with responsibility

· Must have a car and valid driver’s licence

· May occasionally be required to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move heavy objects at events

· Operates with trust and integrity and is action oriented
